MOLLY HUGHES MEMORIAL TROPHY

memory of Miss Molly Hughes, for the Best Gelding or Mare, 3
years and upward.

GLEBEVIEW CLYDESDALES / NISA CLYDESDALE CHAMPIONSHIP 2024
The Northern Ireland Shows Association Clydesdale Championships 2024 will be sponsored by Glebeview Clydesdales. The Championship will run on a league basis, and points will be awarded for animals placed in their respective classes.
Eligible Classes – Brood Mare having produced a foal in 2024. Foal born on or after 1st January 2024. Gelding 3 years old and upwards. Yeld Mare 3 years old and upwards. Colt or Gelding 2 years old. Filly 2 years old. Colt or Gelding 1 year old, Filly 1 year old.
Points: 1st (5 points), 2nd (4 points) and 3rd (3 points). In addition, all horses forward in a class will be awarded one point. These points, together with those gained at other NISA member shows staging the relevant Clydesdale classes during the 2024 show season, will be totalled, but where more than one show (having heavy horse classes) takes place on the same day, points gained will only count from one of these shows, the highest gained points on the day will count.
Exhibitors must include the passported name of their animal(s), exhibitor name, address, and contact details with each exhibitor entry.
Trophies will be awarded to the exhibitors of the six horses winning the highest points over the league.
Qualifying shows: Ballymoney, Saintfield, Ballymena, Omagh, Castlewellan, Co. Londonderry and Antrim Shows.
